Ive been using a "decent" service called livedrive for almost 6 months now. I get 5TB of storage space for under 20 per month (fantastic price). but just like everything else in life you get what you pay for.
The service reliability is shotty at best and they only have servers in Europe, which seems to result in some shaky performance when it is running properly.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any similar priced alternative hosted out of North America? Ive looked at alot of options but nothing comes close to 5TB for $20 a month. From that price i havnt been able to get above 100gb.
On top of that live drive seems to have "itunes" like file hashing. so lets say i have a 5GB file and some other user has already uploaded that file, it will reorganize via hash and i can save my bandwidth/time. Thats a second crucial feature as its saves me loads of time (5TB is alot of data to upload)
Wondering if anyone knows of such a service?
Thanks
