I am looking for some online storage options AFTER one of my 2 TB WD HDD failed (bangs head)!
So that this does not happen for my other HDDs.

My main concern is long term storage - without much adding or accessing the data.
I have some research data in encrypted containers (Veracrypt) which could be a 300 Gb in size for 1 file.

1) Backblaze - value option for unlimited storage, but it only keeps online backup of files which are connected or still on the PC. If I remove an external HDD and don't connect it to the PC, it will be considered as deleted and removed from online storage as well. To make this work, I could put a reminder to connect all my HDDs ( say I have 3 of them) on a schedule at least once a month - could be tricky if I have to travel

2) Backblaze B2 - seems like a good option, as pricing to store data and maintain data is low. In case a drive fails, then I can pay extra to download whatever I need. Monthly I might not need to upload or download data regularly.

3) IDrive - they have plans for 2 Tb, which is a good start and they dont delete the data it an external drive is disconnected, as per their features. Price is higher than option (1).

Any other options one can suggest ?

Thanks

Seems I posted in the wrong section, the General section would have been better. Would appreciate if a mod could move this !
B2 is probably not for regular consumers but would need APIs etc ?! still checking.
