Question clr cmos (dont know what category this falls under)

i have a question about my pc
i bought my pc from someone and he putted a password on the bios and now was my question how do i clear the password without losing all my data and what happens if i press the clr cmos button on the back of my case?

Talk to the person that set the password. We have no way to verify that you are either the legitimate owner of the PC in question or otherwise authorized to access it.
