CM Hyper 212 Evo case space and ram blocking

hey guys, I want to buy a CM hyper 212 evo.

I have a i7-4790k, asus 97-A, corsair 450d and 4x4 gskill ripjaw x rams.

I was wondering if the cooler doesnt block or touch any of the memory sticks since i have 4 and if fits my case.

You can adjust the fan placement on the 212 EVO to avoid any interference with the RAM. It will fit just fine.

As a side note, if you haven't already bought the EVO also take a look at the CRYORIG H7 heatsink, it's a bit smaller and has better cooling performance: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4UF2DZ6565

Both the 212 EVO and CRYORIG H7 will fit on your motherboard just fine, even with all RAM slots filled.

Ok thanks, I havent bought any yet, but I will go with the CRYORIG H7.

What thermal paste should i buy?

It comes with it's own paste, but if you want spend a little extra or have a good tube as backup I suggest the Arctic MX4:
