Hello,

I have a CM Storm Enforcer case. I noticed that on top there is an option to put a fan. Since the case did not come with a dust filter for this spot I will have to purchase a fan and possibly a dust filter for it.

I was wondering what the best 200mm fan for this case is and if I need to also purchase a dust filter? If I do need to purchase a dust filter can you please recommend one.

I will be purchasing from newegg.ca

Thank you :)

This fan will work if you're looking for a red led version: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103072&cm_re=200mm-_-35-103-072-_-Product

As far as a filter is concerned, I didn't see any at Newegg, but if you google it you can find lots of them at other sites, like this: http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g47/c223/s1092/list/p1/Fan_Accessories-Fan_Filters-200mm_Fan_Filters-Page1.html

If this fan is going into the top position though, you should set it up as an exhaust fan rather than intake. That will make for better case airflow and will make a filter unnecessary.

Yes, the fan will be an exhaust. I wasn't sure even if the fan was an exhaust that dust will still get in when computer is turned off, which is why I was considering a dust filter aswell.

I have a filter on my top exhaust fan for that reason also - mine came with it so the decision was easier. A filter will restrict the airflow some - you could try it with and without and see if it makes any difference in your temps. If you don't want to buy one to try, you could try it without and see how it's affected by dust ingress, then try it with an improvised filter.
