CM Storm trigger z problem

So i just got it and hooked it up to my pc, however i cant, for the life of me get the led back lighting to work.. the numslock & caps lock are lit but when i press fn then the f3 or f4 option the leds behind the keys wont turn on. I'm sure its not broken, but i just dont understand what I'm not doing right!!
