Hey guys, I have a problem here. I'm typing on my old PC, because my new one has a problem, and here it is:

For sometime my new PC has not been able to power up at all. All the cables are connected, and everytime there's a blackout, whatever power cord it was working on no longer works on it, however, it brilliantly manages to power up my old PC. All of them worked fine yesterday, but after a blackout, when the electricity returned, it would not turn on with any power cable I had, although it is capable of turning on with new cables (not always). The power supply also works well, but the case just does not turn on at all, hence, even the PC does not turn on. Here are the specs of the new PC:

X99A GODLIKE GAMING

Intel Core i7 5960X

G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 RAM (2x8GB)

Intel 750 series SSD (400 GB)

CM Storm Trooper (Black)

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980 Ti

Cooler Master V1200 PSU

Cooler Master Nepton 240M

Segate ST4000DX001 4TB SSHDs (I have two of them)

Solution
Not much to look at for a power issue, if you keep having power outages, get a UPS. Power supply, case connections or motherboard can cause issues. If you tested the power supply in another system and it's good, but does not power your computer, check over the case connections, maybe move things to another case, or try a different motherboard. Resetting the BIOS can sometimes clear things on the motherboard when it does not boot.
