Cm storm ultimate quick fire

So I was playing battlefield 3 like every day and suddenly keyboard wouldnt work at all. at first I tho it was a bug in-game until I realized I couldnt type anywher (web-skype-etc)

After I re-booted my cpu it would work and then while entering my password the last touch I clicked would repeat to the infinite. somehow I can manage to type now and the lights seems to work. I just cant backspace anymore and few keyboard touch wont work. I tried to plug it in another cpu and it was the same exact probleme. ANY SOLUTION? I dont think at that point I can return it since I have it for only 3month

have you tried another keyboard to see if the issue is with it ??

I use that keyboard since it first came out and I have not had an issue with it [brown] but one thing I did see that was going to be an issue was the cord kept coming out of the slot so I gooped glued it in place so I would not snatch on the mini usb plug and screw it up witch is common on keyboards with this removable cord set up..

do you think this may have happened? you may e-mail coolermaster on it and see if they will work with you on a repair or exchange...

You probably broke the key. You might not be able to return from pop, but it will be under manufacturers warranty. If for some reason you cannot get an rma and you feel you cannot use it anymore, take it apart and try to see if you can fix it. If it's useless to you now it won't hurt to fix until it's really broke. Again, only after you attempt an rma, it should have at least a year.

Junkeymonkey: Yeah right now im using another keyboard ( I already miss my cm storm...) and I dont think its the usb at all. The mini usb plug is perfectly inside no way it would be because of that. As I said it came out of no where. I dont know how keyboard works but im feeling like somthing fucked up inside. Ill e-mail coolermaster tommorow !

Dkulprit: I really dont think I broke the key these cm storm quick fire are unbreakable unless real harm are done to them and im thinking about it trying to open it and see but god this keyboard is like my baby Im too scared to hurth it more! At the moment ill let it rest and pray the god of keyboards to give me a miracle and make it work tommorow.

Ill uptade my post tommorow morning but thank you for the suggestion and the help guys!

just contact coolermaster and explain what the deal is .. i'm sure they will help you out with it three months old it should be covered

Obviously it is breakable. If you tried it on another pc and it's doing the same thing, it is definitely the motherboard. Either the keys are sticking or think they are sticking, or there is something on the pcb causing the contacts to jump. Either way, contact cooler master and have them replace it.

do you know what key is repeating like lets sat the d key can you use the keycap puller and check the actavator of the switch to see if its just stuck down and just a little pull up on it may unstick it?

OMG. My keyboard is working perfectly fine right now. Everything works! Im still contacting CM storm to see if I can get another one because its sketchy. Thanks for the Help guys!

sounds likw theres some dust -dirt- spilled coke- is causing the actavator not to ''spring''back up after it been pushed down
