CMD 'access is denied'

Hi!

I accidentally backed up a phone on my SSD and that used up all my space >.<

I found a command online to move and redirect everything but I get 'access denied'

I found a tutorial online to fix this (involved changing cmd.exe permissions and turning UAC down) but I'm still getting access denied.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

what tutorial? google is useless for this search, all i get is links to moving from android to iphone. Are you using android or ios? it will narrow search a little.

why not just delete it instead of move it? if it was an accident or did you put it in wrong location? Surely you could still delete it and do it again.

Try adding "Take Ownership" to your context menu. You should then be able to right click on the folder/folders you want to delete or move and select the Take Ownership option which will give you the permissions you need to modify them.

careful of what you take ownership of as if you use it on the root of C drive windows may not work next time you start it.
