cmd keeps popping up at windows start up

How do I know which program launches cmd when I open my laptop? Pretty sure the .exe file it was trying to launch was a virus and I quarantined and deleted the file with my antivirus. I want to track what launches the cmd and hopefully stop it or quarantine it too if it's a virus.

It might be listed under the "Startup" tab in Task Manager which lists the items which are configured to start with Windows.
You can disable the offending item by highlighting it, then click the Disable button (or right-click the item and choose "Disable").


Then restart Windows to see the effect.

Yes I did do this as a temporary solution, but what I wanted to know is what program or virus(hopefully not) keeps opening the cmd, so I can remove it.
