Hi, I'm posting because my cmd app is not working. Whenever I try to open it, a small cmd window flashes for a second and nothing else. bat files are also not working in the same fashion. I've tried opening the cmd from an admin powershell window, but all that does when i try is make my powershell window very small, no other result. Interestingly, I've created a new user with admin rights and for some reason cmd works just fine on the new user account. However, no matter what I try, I can't seem to fix it on my main/old user account. Any help would be much appreciated.
I have also run sfc scannow and dism commands and run a full virus scan with both malware antibytes and avast, to no avail.
