Hi, I need help with my computer (I'm new to the forums). My PC is running windows 10 creators update, done a fresh format reload of the PC recently. When I try to open cmd it blips open then closed immedietly. I have tried doing an sfc scan in the windows recovery menu using cmd (It works there for some reason). The scan said, Windows resource protection could not fix violations or something like that. I have also tried an sfc scan on a windows installation usb to no avail aswell. CMD was working fine. I did recently install plex so i think it might have something to do with plex's python backround but im not sure. Tried to do system restore but windows had system restore off which is annoying as hell. I tried googling for a solution but nothing i could find matches my problem help would be appreciated thanks!

As Sedivy said, check the status of PowerShell. Push comes to shove though as long as PowerShell is working you can just use a third party terminal without performing a reset on the OS. You didn't have to use windows CMD window.

Just checked powershell opens fine. Tried launching cmd from start menu, tried launching via powershell, went straight to windows folder tried the exe directly same result for all.
