Solution
1. If Ram is rated at 1.5, it should run at rated values, INTEL or AMD. IF amd CPU requires 1.65 - Get RAM rated at 1.65.

2. Amd is only partially correct on INtel - i.5 is recommend for the Sandybridge CPU. Previous CPUs like i5-750 1.65 V was correct.
It could be that that ram is rated at 1.5V for CL9, BUT you can run it at CL7 using 1.65 V. If you run cpuid CPUz and select the SPD tab at the top it will display what the XMP values are stored on the ram Module

it will not boot and be stable at 1.5. 1.65 it works fine.

I called corsair they said set it to 1.65 on AMD they said 1.5 volts is on intel. They said the Intel IMC does hot like higher voltages. It will burn out at higher voltages.
