CMOS BAD CHECKSUM error???

I received an error during initial startup that says "BAD CHECKSUM ERROR". What is this? Is it my hard drive? Help!!!

Hi.

Exist some problems that can cause that:

1- The CMOS battery. Solution: Change it for a new one.
2- Some problem with the time specifications in the BIOS.
3- Some drive that isn't connected properly.

I reset the bios and input the correct date and also reconnected the main drive to the mobo. Everything is fine now. Thanks.

Thanks... 7 years later and a google search. Changed the time and it started right up.
