I bought this Zebronics H61 motherboard a month ago and the battery drained in a month. This is a big problem since these cheap boards cannot even start without a CMOS battery installed

The PC stopped booting. Nothing was happening when I pressed the power button. I tried to jump it, no fans spinning, no PSU power. Then I replaced the CMOS battery with my older one (I saw a youtube video in which a guy told me that these boards cannot start without a CMOS battery. The PC posted successfully but the SSD got corrupted (Had a hard time to fix it.)

The drained CMOS battery still had 3 volts in it. I assume the current was gone.

the grounding and all wiring is fine. The screws are in place. (I built this one myself).

Do I have to worry about this? I can't keep reinstalling windows over and over because of corrupted data.

Solution
If your battery is new and genuine, there must be a leaking somewhere on the motherboard.

CMOS battery should last several years, they even last nearly 10 years on some of my computers.
