I have an Intel G41 Express Chipset and it's been almost a year now since i keep getting this error. When i boot up i get the error :
CMOS Battery Failure
CMOS Time Not Set

Then the pc would boot up normally but the time was not set like what the error said. But since a few days my keyboard has also stopped responding from time to time and unless i use it in a different position(or hit it 😛 ) the keyboard doesn't work!
I've read some solutions that says i gotta reset CMOS.... is this the same?

Solution
no on most mb there a cr203 silver battery about 7.00 for two from local walmart. turn your pc off unplug it from the wall for safty. use a small flat head screw driver and lossen the battery clip tab. the battery will pop up and pull it out. one side will have writing and a + on it make sure you put the new battery back in the same way.

Instead of doing this myself is it better to consult an expert.....? cuz i suck at fixing and modifying electronics

Edit: I also read on some other threads that we've to turn off some kinda switch a rocker switch or something but i don't see anything like that!
