[SOLVED] Cmos date and time is wrong, press f1 to setup. But f1 to f12 keys not working

When i start cpu, moniter shows Cmos date and time is wrong, press f1 to setup. But f1 to f12 keys not working. But scroll, caps and numlock is working, getting on and off easily. Tried this with two keyboards. And Its a new cmos battery that i have put in as pc was not working and rebutting again and again. Tried clearing cmos battery also. But still even if i press f1 key shows no effect but caps lock key is working. Please help me.
