Question Cmos Fail

so after i and my friend installed new cpu(we had to take out motherboard and all things)
when we booted pc
i got CMOS FAIL but pc still booted in,and my pc was lagging,and my pc also couldnt recognize my graphic card,i fixed that problem by trying to update and repair drivers.but
but my pc is still lagging and i still get cmos fail message everytime i boot my pc

It's probably a CR2032 that can be found in most common stores.

You said the CPU was new, but didn't mention the age of the other components.
Eveeything is new,i just went to the pc store and brough pc 1 month ago,and yesterday i decided to update to ryzen 5 3600 from 2400g,and this happend,bios update after 3600 release date,so processor is working

Ok, then it may not be the battery. But the battery is also the cheapest part, so there is no great loss if you spend some pennys to buy a new one to replace.
