I'm still puzzled how you were using it on Windows, but I'll concede that you were. All the descriptions I've read on that model camera doesn't even mention Windows, it doesn't even mention connecting it to a computer. Very strange.

You cannot modify a driver to make it compatible with Windows 7 unless you have a good knowledge of programming code.
As it was cheap, the easiest thing to do is buy a Windows 7-compatible camera.
The GP-830T is a Chinese-made wireless surveillance camera with a small monitoring device like a visual baby monitor.
I have found no reference to it being PC or laptop compatible.

If you've been using it on Windows then I will readily eat "humble pie" and would be delighted to know how you managed it.

Dear Phillip ,
I did use it on windows xp and i have driver software but unfortunately these are not compatible with windows 7and im using windows 7 at the moment :-(
also i noticed there are two files in the driver which are tridvid and tridvid.sys
(TRIDVID.INF -- This file contains installation information for Trident USB 2.0 Video Processors.) can i convert these files to windows 7 ,is there any way to do that?
and i bought it 3 years ago and still working and obliviously cheap also lol
