i removed the cmos battery in my desktop computer and placed it again after a few minutes, after that I turned on my computer but it doesn't switch on. I checked my power supply unit and I noticed that the fan in psu is not working. So I concluded that my desktop doesn't turn on because of the psu not giving power to the motherboard. My question is, did I make a wrong step in removing and placing back my cmos? Because I noticed that after I removed and placed back again the CMOS battery, my desktop shows no sign of life neither the psu.
