Alright so I just built a new pc with a AsRock z370m-itx/ac and it wasnt showing any signal on the monitor. I tried alot of suggestions and one said to take out your cmos battery and put it back in agter a few minutes. Although after looking though my motherboards manual I saw that instead there was 2 prongs labeled "clear cmos jumper" after seeing how to reset it i did as it says, i unplugged my power cable and used a screwdriver to bridge the center for a few seconds. Although when i did the computer turned on for a split second. Should I be worried? If so would it be best to just get a new motherboard? Thanks

Just for future reference, most motherboards that have a "clear cmos jumper" also include a little plastic jumper "bridge" with the cables and other accessories. Use that to reset the cmos...you just put it on the indicated pins, wait a bit, then remove. Your screwdriver scares me.
