I was trying to boot my old computer with linux and it wont even allow me to enter the BIOS because my keyboard isn't working. I reset the CMOS and replaced the battery already. I connected a jumper, while off and unplugged, and pressed the power button, then reconnected it. It picks up the the drives and GPU, I have already taken them out and determined that they weren't the problem. I have tried another power supply, does the same thing. I have tried the RAM on another computer and it is fine. I have even swapped the RAM out for others, same... thing...
I have a ps/2 keyboard on hand, and no it does not work either. I have tried almost everything and cant get to a point to where I can input anything to get to the bios because it will not allow me to press anything on the keyboard. Please help me out. Give me ideas.
