Hello Tom's Hardware Community,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with my issue.
(I also made a post here on the cmforums but haven't been answered yet: http://community.coolermaster.com/index.php/topic/14548-cm-storm-devastator-mouse-problem/)

So, I've had this keyboard and mouse bundle for a while, but have only started really using it for about a month now. A few days ago while I was playing cs:go, something odd happened. I was in a competitive match and I tried spraying bullets whenever I had a smg, or whatever, and the key press would just stop after about five bullets had been released.

I thought maybe I was just tired or something from being up all night and couldn't fully hold down the button, but that wasn't the case.
I tried again in the morning but the button stopped working entirely. I couldn't even open up steam, or click on any folders.
Every other part of the mouse works, except the left-click (button, mouse1)
the right-click, scroll wheel, mouse4 and mouse5 all work. along with the movement.
But the left click stopped working.
It's not my computer doing it, or any USB port because I tried changing them and updating driver software.

It's only been a month so I wouldn't assume it would just give out already.
If there is no solution to fix this I can still get an RMA.

That's the only issue with the mouse is the left-click, and I tried cleaning it if there was something under it, and there is not.
I can still fully press down the button, but nothing happens.

That's all I have to say,
Thanks:

things go like that sometimes . happens to all of us at one time or another ..

have you looked at how a membrane keyboard works and built ? not to say there bad I used plenty of them but there more subject to fail like you say and how most times they do , maybe in a week if you were to get the lemon or years if quality made and solid parts ??

just contact there support and see about a rma .. for me , at 20 bucks its in the trash and get a new one .. the heck with all that boxing up and shipping and all the hoop jumping to get it rma'ed [but that's just me ]

Replace it, just happened to break on you. My son uses this set, and often, has worked fine for him for a year now (he got it almost exactly a year ago for Christmas), no issues with his model. For the price that is a very good feeling keyboard and mouse, smooth feeling movement. If it had more buttons I'd use it instead of my $50 mouse.

I'm getting a Corsair K70 RGB and a g502 next year, once I have the money, but I don't yet unfortunately.
I'll probably just replace it.
