CMUDAXP.SYS error BSOD

Hi,

So I put my computer to sleep, and when i came back too it about 14-15 hours later and turned the monitor i got a message saying "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're gathering info and then we'll restart for you. If you'd like to know more you can search online for this error DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (cmudaxp.sys)" I tried googling a solution but I'm not too sure what to do. I read some stuff about sound cards, I have an Asus Xonar STX if that would help anyone trying to help me find a solution.

1) as a "Simple test' remove the PS Plug from the wall AND Remove the sound Card from the MB, Re boot

given its history of causing PC from crashing during sleep I would follow the advice given here and either update drivers or reinstall them in compatibility mode if they not win 10 drivers.
