Hey guys just wanted to thank you for you help, system is totally stable, now here are my real numbers and tell me how they sound.

Q6600 @ 3.416 ghz @ 1.475v (bios) 1.392-1.41v (cpuz) @ 55-62c load

GSkill pc2-8000 @ 2.1v @ 1067 fsb @ 5-5-5-15-48 (will lower this in time had to get a stable cpu first)

BFG 8800 gts oc 320mb at 660 core/1600 shader/1996 mem

Looks good.

You have some more room left for OCing that chip a bit.

I still suggest running 12 hours of Blend for total stability. This will thoroughly test the FSB and Memory as well as the NB.

Also.. Wireless did jack crap. 😛

true, but both of u helped, i got so eager with this chip that I forgot to go up in increments instead of trying of an stable overclock and going up from there, i ran it at 3.488 at 1.42v cpuz and 1090 fsb, the good thing is since i started down and went up in increased my memory read speed from 7800 ish mb/s to right now which is 9163 timings are at 5-5-5-15 now.

That voltage seems a bit high, I'm sure you could go farther on it depending on CPU stepping. great job for first OC attempt though 😀
