Hi all! I'm frankensteining together a new video editing rig from my previous video editing station. My design is to create a system that can take Premiere Pro CS6 and After Effects. Some of these parts come from my current system, which is why it's a bit of a mismatch:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus Z87-Pro (V Edition) ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card
Case: Cooler Master Storm Scout ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

The OS, optical drive, hard drives, and case are all from my current system. Otherwise everything's gonna be new. I'm relatively close to my max budget on this, also.

Are there any things I am missing, or obvious places to save some cash? How should I optimize the system for video editing and some after effects compositing?

Solution
I got a BD writer. Maybe you too? I also got cards with more CUDA cores to help with hardware acceleration. Which'll mean a good psu to match. You'll want a cooler (not the stock Intel) - try Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO - cheap with good reviews. Protect that cpu. Overclock if you want.
