COBY Televison switches from HDMI to DVI

I have a CyberpowerPC gaming ultra desktop with a AMD Radeon RX 560 Graphics card. I currently have a Samsung SyncMaster E2420 connected to it by a DVI cable. I want to connect a second screen, that being a COBY LEDTV1926, to my computer but there are some issues. First, on my computer, it says that it can not detect a second screen. And second, on my TV, every time the input gets switched to HDMI, it automatically switched to the DVI input and says no signal. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Nevermind, turns out you can't have both a hdmi signal and DVI signal from the same pc
