cod 4 multiplayer hangs when charger is unplugged

hi,
I am using HP 15au620tx when I play cod4 with charger plugged-in everything runs smooth, but when I unplug the charger the game starts to freeze. I also changed the battery profile to high performance but nothing helped.
my laptop specs are,
8gb ram.
2.05ghz i5 7th gen processor.
2gb NVidia graphics.
win10 home.
please help me to solve this problem.

This is some "feature" that most laptops have, to save power when the laptop is not plugged in.

It might be switching to integrated graphics when you unplug the adapter.

I have tried to find a solution online, but without succes.

What you could try though, is changing the power plan settings, to maximum performance.

You can do this at: Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Choose a power plan > Change plan settings

Graphics:- NVIDIA® GeForce® 940MX (2 GB DDR3 dedicated).
Ram:- 8 GB DDR4.
Please help me to solve this.
