Hi everyone

I wonder if anyone here can help me with a little query I have. I've got the Asus Mars GeForce GTX 760x2 with 4 gigs of GDDR5 RAM but on some games such as Call of Duty Advanced Warfare it only says that I have 1956 megs of dedicated video memory.

Thats just doesn't sound right to me as in other games like Max Payne 3 for example it says I have 4096 meg of video memory

I guess what i mean to say is there any way of getting games like COD AW to ultilize all of the video memory instead of only half?

Can anyone help with this please?

Thanks and peace out

The Mars 760 is simply two 760 GPUs in SLI on a single card. While it advertises 4GB of VRAM, that's total; each GPU only has access to 2GB. It's just the same as if you had two separate 2GB 760 cards in SLI, the useable VRAM is still only 2GB as they don't add together in SLI.

It's slightly off that manufacturers list the "total" VRAM when selling dual GPU cards, as it can and does lead to confusion with consumers (another example of this is the R9 295x2, which is normally listed as 8GB even though each GPU only has access to 4GB).

So in conclusion, COD:AW is reporting your VRAM total correctly, and Max Payne is reporting it incorrectly.
