CoD Black ops Multiplayer Problem?

Ok, so i got the cracked version of cod black ops and i have the free weekend on steam. I can connect to the server perfectly on the steam version but on the cracked version it says "Sorry, The Server is currently unavailable, Try again later." I know im not banned. I want a fix. Help me please.

Why would you download the cracked version of the game if you've got the steam version.

Its only for labor day weekend. After that i have to purchase the game.
