COD MW3 Error

I was playing Cod:MW3 ...After the first Mission i.e. "Black Tuesday".....when the video comes...The game stops and An error occurred and the game was not working further ... Please Help...!!! !!!!

its a non standard error.
if you have a steam version check the file integrity via the games tools options.

if you have a none steam version
rename the folder as dummy. then run the game installer again. it should let you install a fresh copy. if it doesnt use ccleaners reg cleaner it should say errors found for c: /programfiles(x86)/ blah blah /mw3 or similar. just fix them all and the game should nolonger show up on the install list but will remain on the disk.(this stops that area of disk being written to again for now)
install the game. load your save as that should still be there and work. then try again...
if you get the same erro at the same place then its likely your install files are corrupt. if you get past it then delete the dumy folder and run chkdsk to make sure its only a soft write error on the disk not a real error.
