COD MW3 Setup

I bought COD MW3 second hand for pc and It didn't come with a book just a case that has a dsic on each side. When installing it is asking for an activation code via steam. Where can I find this. If I cant what should I do.

You can't buy games used, which need to be activated for Steam...once activated they are bound to an account and can't be transferred to another one. You just got ripped off.
