[SOLVED] CoD : Warzone - completely closing down. Possible causes?

Hi all,

I have recently upgraded my CPU and GPU (+monitor) - really happy with the upgraded performance.


HOWEVER, I've started running into a problem -CoD has just randomly closed down mid game 3 times now.

I have ran monitoring software and my GPU and RAM are running flat out. CPU and RAM more like 50% . All temps seem absolutely fine.

Any ideas?

It COULD be a CoD server issue, but I think that's highly unlikely with it being 3 times now.

Specs:
CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x
GPU - Radeon RX 5700 xt
RAM - 16GB
PSU - 550w platinum superflower

Did the new cpu require a new motherboard? If yes did you reinstall Windows?

You should also try completely removing the gpu driver using DDU in Windows safe mode. Then reinstalling the latest driver. This will ensure any driver corruption is completely removed.

Thanks for the reply Sizzling.

No - I kept the same MoBo - Auros B450 pro WiFi

so therefore, I havent re-installed windows.

I did install the 2nd latest driver for the GPU (as their are some dodgy reviews about the latest update)

I'll try to uninstall and re-install. Thanks for the advice.

Any other possibilities? PSU issue?

A fresh install of the GPU driver seems to have done the trick, touch wood!

Ive played 4 / 5 full games of Warzone now and it's ran delightfully... No stuttering or crashing. Thanks for the help guys.
