COD WAW crashes when downloading account data

I did select the best answer because it seemed to work. But the problem keeps coming back.

This is really frustrating. This is my favourite game and I cant even play it by myself let alone on-line with my friends.

Please somebody help figure out what to do.

If its activisions server stuffing up intermittently than I need to get hold of them somehow to fix it. But activitsions support seems to have disappeared. there's no way to contact them.

I want to play this game more than any of my new games that I own. It was working again a while ago for about 2 days and then bam. Sorry activision doesn't want you to play this any more again.

Is this constant problem not annoying anyone else? Coz its affecting me and several of my friends. Some with steam versions and some with retail version.

I cant believe when I google the problem only my own thread appears. Surely other out theregeting annoyed with this and want a solution.

I know lots of other still play this online coz when it works and I start a game the game lobby fills up instantly.

Im getting very angry please help.

ok so i compleatly reinstalled the game.

Still the same problem.

Only time it works if I delete my activision folder in app data & run the game through the disk's autorun only.

If i run the game exe it crashes if I dont delete my activision folder 1st it crashes.

I've managed to contact Activision through Twitter and we are.trouble shooting atm. Will update when I find a solution.

I know I am few years late, but did you find a solution? For no reason I got the same problem, yesterday was working just fine. Let me know.

Hi... I ended up talking to activision I think and told them that maybe one of their cloud serverss has a bad ram stick. Causing corruption of data. Ass all people in my regeon were affected by the problem.

A few days after this the problem went away and I assumed I was right and they fixed it.
