Hey, I have Call of Duty 2, not MW2. Ive recently updated from my Windows XP computer to a Windows 7 Slimline Series (model: s5-1014) desktop. I have Call of Duty, and Call of Duty United Offensive installed onto my computer, and runs completely fine. But with Call of Duty 2, I can play Single Player just fine, but when it comes to mulitplayer, im getting a few different messages when I try each "fix".

Running the game normal, in Safe mode or not. Im getting the message, "cod2mp_s exe has stopped working."

And i've tried to run as an administrator on my computer, and get the same message as before. Or try troubleshoot compatibility, tried all on, on the Windows XP Service Pack 2, 3, Windows 2000, once I press 'Start the Program', it begins to load, and comes up with a new error message, "WIN_ERROR : Error during initialization: Couldn't load default_mp.cfg. Make sure Call of Duty in run from the correct folder." Then the console loads with this message.

So anyway I can possibly get around this? I've unistalled/installed the game 3 times now, and still not sure whats the problem. Can anyone help, or know what might be a way to get around it, or completely fix this problem?

Thanks, Shaun.
