hi, i have a nvidia geforce 9800gx2. first i was using xp for a cupple of days and it was ok, the i started using windows 7. then the problems began, it started freezing in middle of games and after a while it got worse, i saw the error code 43 and i just unactivated the gpus and reactivated them and it worked for 2 or 3 mins and then it froze again. now im using XP again, but the problem is still there and when i try to install the driver, it freezes.
even the motherboard logo that comes up when i start the computer has grafic problems, the logo isnt clear.
can it be a hardware problem?

Check your MB for blown capacitors. And check your video card as well. But my first thought would be the PSU.Also, did you disable your anti-virus before installing the video drivers???Goodluck.

how do i check the motherboard for blows capacitors?
i dont think that it is the psu, because it used to work just fine, i played crysis with everything on maximum and i had no problem with it

Open your box and do a visual inspection with a flashlight.
