Codec pack for windows media player

Hey guys . i'm using windows 8.1 . is there any Codec Pack for Windows media Player that is better or As good as MPC+KLiteCodec ?

That's what I use, but you could also use VLC if Windows Media Player won't play certain files. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
