Hi all, I am assembling my new i5 12400F and i would like to sell my old i7 3770k.

I have an old PSU "codegen 300X", those standard genericones that came together with old cases.

Do you think it would be enough? I made a simulation with partpicker.com and it says it would consume 176 Watt, but i think it's in idle because if i add the CPU it tells me 77W, but in load it should be 146 only the CPU.
Then i added samsung 830 SSD sata, Asrock Z77 Pro3, 8 GB RAM and i think that's it, because CPU should have integrated GPU.
In load it should be, more realistically, 250W, i think.

If the PSU is not enough, i guess i will sell only the CPU.

But if power is not enough, will it only just not start, or i risk to burn something?

Many thanks!

Yes, thanks..anyway the 24 pin connector was not even there, I mean, there is but is not long enough to cover all the connections in the MB...nor the connector for the CPU, so i will just throw the PC in the bin and sell only the CPU
