Coil whine after 3 months

Got my evga 1070 ftw 3 months ago and just this night I started a game and it just screeches. Below 50 C is fine but the moment it gets to 53 or higher it just is so loud. Is the coil whine there to be forever now or?

Does it happen on all games or just that one title? Is the framerate uncapped? At times coil whine becomes more noticeable at higher fps
