Hello I purchased this power supply Zalman ZM700-GT 700W ATX 12V V2.3 Power Supply
and ever since had problems, at first it would restart all the time when playing demanding games that used the graphics card such as Rome 2, this was solved by changing the connection to the graphics card, but then it started coil whining from the graphics card connection. The Graphics card is a AMD 7970, the card worked perfectly in the last set up.
Its seems the power supply would be at fault considering the faulty cable, however the coil whine noise emits from the graphics card, so my question is, is there a way to confirm 100% if its the power or card. or should i just go with replacing the power supply.
