COIL WHINE?? What is this noise??

Hello.

My brief computer specs are
i7
8g ram
Scyther ninja cooler
750 watts psu
msi motherboard ( forgot the model )

So here is the thing.

I've been using GTX 660 and decided to get GTX 980 TI

Once I got the 980ti, it started to make coil whine from my headphone.
It made static buzz noise per say.

I wondered if it was the graphics card and asked EVGA to replace me with a new one, and they did.

New one came in and still the coil whine.

I tried this with my brother's computer which is same spec as mine but has 1000 psu. It also made same coil whine noise.

So I took out the 980ti and put my old gtx 660 back in.

NOW even with the 660, it is making coil noise again. Before taking 660 out it didn't make any noise.

So what is the issue here?

Can it be PSU? but then again, why didn't it make coil whine before taking the 660 out to place 980ti?

summarize,

1. Computer didn't make any coil whine noise with gtx 660
2. Got gtx 980ti and it made coil whine
3. took the gtx 980ti out and placed gtx 660 back in. Coil noise is still there
4. Curious, and wondering why the same gtx 660 that didn't make coil whine is making making noise just like gtx 980 ti

Ok, So I think the coil whine could be coming from the PSU. Because, when I put my 660 in then it started to coil whine.
It is caused by a copper wire vibrating at high speeds making a high pitched noise. The change in power consumption I think.

As for what you can do?
You could get a new PSU
Possibly tighten the wires (it has been done before)
Just put up with it
Limit FPS in game, Thats what I did and it help.

( I use speakers) Well, You could if the coil whine is REALLY loud?
How clear can you hear it?
