Hello guys!

I noticed whenever I run the Windows Benchmark on Windows 7 64 Bit, I start to hear a coil whine that lasts a couple seconds and then goes away. My computer runs perfectly and I never expirence a coil whine any time else. I've also constantly changed out my PSU, motherboard, and CPU and all of then have made the noise so I know its not just my parts. Maybe graphics card but I also doubt that.

Has anyone else also expirenced this? And is it safe?

coil whine is pretty normal but barely loud enough to hear, if you got a pretty silent pc most pc parts make some electrical noise, some brands make extra effort into part picking and testing to eliminate that noice, think corsair rm series psu is great in that regard. and silentpcpreview does test this.

@SR-71 Blackbird So everything is safe now? I've owned several power supplies and I always heard this noise. I've owned a Corsair HX850, an EVGA 1000 P2, and now I own a Silverstone Strider Gold 1000w
