[SOLVED] Cold boot after login to Windows black screen few seconds normal?

Hi everyone,

I have bought a new MSI laptop and from a cold boot when I login to Windows the screen goes black for a few seconds and is then back to normal and no further issues. If I restart the device it is fine, it just seems to be the first boot of the day. Is that normal?

Perfectly normal, same on my PC. Nothing to worry about.

Thank you so much, I was worried as I had Google'd it and it kept talking about hardware issues but that was all related to constant black screens, couldn't find anything to do with a few seconds black screen after login. Cheers!
