Hello all,

I've just put a new machine together moving from AMD to Intel - spec as follows:

1 x Intel Core i7-5820K 3.30GHz Socket 2011v3 15MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
1 x MSI X99S GAMING 7 Socket 2011-3 7.1 Channel HD Audio ATX Motherboard
1 x Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16GB Kit 2666Mhz CL16
1 x Corsair Hydro Series H110 280mm High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Already had a 950w PSU.

Ever since I've put it together (about 2 weeks ago) from a cold boot after about 3/4 seconds with no screen display it turns off and then back on, loads windows and works flawlessly. This initial reboot happens 100% of the time - even without anything being overclocked.

The machine has never crashed from windows under gaming or stress tests.

I'm wondering what it is that's actually causing this, if anyone could shed some light I would appreciate it. I mean it's not a massive problem but still.. want to know why it's behaving like this.

Makes sense, it's not something I've yet done and was my next port of call.

Just seems really odd - none of the settings in the bios get reset or anything but it does run flawlessly after it's little quirk
