Hi All


Thanks for all the fish.......

I have now successfully been OFF D2 since March, and have been palying
WoW.
And I had no withdrawel symptoms at all.
First I bitched about the controls, the layout, choise of weapons etc, but
the game has grown upon me, and they (Blizzard) have really taken the
better stuff from Diablo and made a good game.

It has been 5 or 6 good years playing D2, and all the support info from
you guys have been great.
So keep the faith and play on.

I'm multi-tasking. WoW takes up 90% of my gaming time, but for a few
minutes each day I slap my D2 cd in and take a ride down memory lane.

I've been off D2 all 2005! I played RE4 for a few weeks and that broke
my habit. Now I'm game-free...!

(Un)fortunately I received WoW for my bday, along with a 90 day
play-for-free card. It's been a week and I have yet to install the damn
game. We'll see how long I can resist.

It's nice to have a life again; I'd almost forgotten how much fun it is
to read a book...

install WoW and that hard fought for life will quickly disappear in a vast
and complex world that will take you months to learn and which hides some
new adventure behind each rock (literally). In all the time I played D2 I
took and kept maybe 4 screenshots. I took 14 in WoW just yesterday.

WoW wore me out... and I think I just don't enjoy MMORPGs as much as
some of my other friends. The constant grind and the monthly fee
seems too much of a price to pay for what enjoyment I got out of it.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but WoW just hold my attention
that long.

In D2, once you have a good character, twinking makes everything else
incredibly fun. In WoW, building another character is hard work.
