The only thing I would personally not purchase is Windows 7 Ultimate. Get Windows 7 Pro or Windows 8.1 Pro for less money, there really isn't much advantage to owning Windows 7 Ultimate unless you absolutely need the language packs or the secure file destruction features. Most of the time you don't.

Otherwise that is a very solid build, not a whole lot I would change.

I never suggested it was a gaming PC. But Ultimate over Pro gives only a few specialized features.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7_editions

BitLocker, multi-language, booting from a VHD....stuff like that. If that is actually needed, then great. But far, far too many people home in on the word "Ultimate", believing it denotes some special powers.

But whatever....just my opinion.

No, no one needs Windows 7 Ultimate. The only reason you would buy it is if you need the language packs. Windows 7 Pro has all the IT features of Ultimate for less money. There's absolutely no difference between that and Windows 8.1 Pro, Windows 7 Pro, Windows 10 Pro.

Although come to think of it, I think a 1TB SSD is kind of a waste of money as well. Get a 250GB SSD and a 2TB WD Black drive - that is a much better cost per GB ratio, and you have separate drives for OS and data.

I would just get 7 HP 64 bit.
I would also break up the drives get a 250GB SSD for the operating system and programs, a 500GB SSD for your main games and a WD blue drive 1TB for storage and lesser played games.
That EVGA power supply is the G2 series right? If it's the G1 change it.

Post a link where to buy that 1TB SSD for only 50 bucks more.
