Greetings fellow members ,

I'm going to college soon enough , so I am currently looking for a laptop that would do just fine .
Below are my criterias and budgets :-

Budget : Below 900$
Uses : Light gaming : Dota 2 / Multi-tasking / Surfing Web / College works (essay - research)
Battery life : Preferably longer . Not a must but a privilege .
Looks : Slim , small , portable , and the screen is not too big nor reflective.
Durability : Durable , gotta last quite some time .
Condition: New , ( no refurbished ).
Do I need an optical drive? : No
Storage : SSD ( cause its faster)
Webcam : Not necessary
OS : I've been using Windows but I'm fine with OS.
Brand : I'm not biased towards any brand but I'm looking for the price per performance/looks/build quality regardless of brand.
Keyboard: Backlit is not a must as I'm gonna be using them a lot so I will eventually get use to them.

I've been doing some research myself, so I'm currently interested in this Asus Zenbook.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834232393 which is an alternative to the Macbook Air 13inch .

Any advice and suggestion given are deeply appreciated ! Thank you and have a nice day !

thanks for the suggestion but my pick is more into slim+fast+portable rather then for gaming, as of right now , I'm seriously am thinking of buying the zenboon that I linked to :)

FYI,

The Core M 5Y10 is not a particularly powerful CPU. It is a low power consumption CPU which provides good battery life, but it's performance is below that of a Core i3 CPU. However, it is good enough for everyday usage. Here's a review for the Asus ZenBook UX305:
