College PC Build Help

Hey all,

As a college student who's been saving up money from work I'd love to make a PC Build. It would mainly be used for gaming and video editing (Triple AAA Games, Premiere Pro) in addition to normal school work. I've wanted to go Mini-ITX to save space, but don't want to end up paying too much or sacrificing too much performance. I'd like to stay under $1200, but less is better.

I've waffled between a 1060 or 1070 and an i5 or i7.

Frankly I'm just looking for guidance on my builds as you all are significantly smarter than I am.

Do you care to overclock that i7? If not you can save quite a bit of cash. Also if your gaming @1080P/60hz then the GTX 1060 6gb would be plenty but here's what I would go with for a ITX build for your budget.

side note as a college student you likely have access to discounted, even free, copes of Windows. Sometimes you have to be enrolled in a compsci class buy but you can just find someone on campus and bum it off them. There is no reason for you to buy from kinguin.
