My laptop was stolen and I need to get a new one quickly but I’m on a super tight budget. I live in Australia and I’ll be using it mainly for school so chrome, word, office, PowerPoint are all essential. An HDMI port is also a plus
I won’t be using it for much else. (Occasional steaming and music)
The two that I have found on Letgo that seem decent for under $500 AUD are the Acer Swift 1 SF114-32 (N5000, SSD, FHD) and the HP Elite x2 1013 G3 - 13" - Core i5 8250U - 8 GB RAM - 256 GB SSD.
Now, because I know just about nothing about what any of that means. I thought I would ask you all in hopes that you can lead me in the right direction.
Which one is better? Is there a better laptop out there for a similar price that I should be considering?
Also, the Acer Swift says it runs Microsoft 10s- can I download chrome with this OS?
