I am a photographer and I am getting a new monitor that supports 10 bit color, which I intend to run at 2560x1440.

I curently have an MSI GeForce GTX 660Ti graphics card.

I'm hoping that the brains trust here can help me out with the following questions:

  1. Does the MSI GeForce GTX 660Ti support 10 bit color depth? I can't seem to find out anywhere!
  2. Can the 660 Ti support 256-x1440?
  3. Which interface should I use for most color-accurate results? For example, I've heard that DVI does not support 10 bit color, in which case I should use DisplayPort or HDMI. But which one should I use?
  4. Which version of HDMI does this card support?

Solution
Install the Studio driver from nVidia, see if that allows you to set 10 bit.

Card will run at 1440 resolution, Display Port is the monitor standard so use that.

Generally the Quadro and Fire GL cards are the ones you would use for pro work since their drivers and hardware is setup for accuracy rather than speed.
